Spanner Squad Project Newsletter #4: Spanner Squad Locations
Greetings to our Spanner Squad Followers!
For those of you who have wondered out loud … “What do you need from me?” Well, here is where the rubber hits the road! Keep on reading and see how a testimonial from you may contribute to taking The Spanner Squad to the next level!
In the last newsletter I promised some example stories that are candidates for our first development efforts. I decided to send you the proposed locations of the stories first, to give better context to the stories.
Spanner Squad Newsletter #3: Introducing the Spanner Squad Characters!
Introducing … The Spanner Squad Characters!
We propose 9 core characters in the Spanner Squad, plus a number of other characters depicting other roles within an airline, and visitors from other airlines.
Most of the action takes place in Australia, at a big airport.
Please bear in mind, these are just general character descriptions that will evolve. The images are just suggested likenesses. For some characters, we have started creating more complexity in their back stories, because this will inform the personality of the character and how they act.

Update on the Squad!
Dear Spanner Squad Advisory Board!
It has been a hectic month since I sent our first newsletter in August.
I (Denis) travelled to Singapore for the APATS Conference, where I renewed friendship with (among others) Rachel Marie Anthony from Boeing, who was one of the original supporters of the Spanner Squad idea when it was just in its infancy 12 months ago.
From left to right: 1. David Cirulli from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Singapore, 2. Stuart Membrey who was the moderator of the Maintenance stream at the APATS conference, 3. Rachel and 4. Denis.
